The first eighteen months of For The Good Consulting have been nothing short of extraordinary. Every day we work at the intersection of social change, guided by a core belief in keeping costs low and returns high. Through our network of outstanding consultants, we provide you and your team with the support you need to make a meaningful impact. In these challenging times, we understand that every dollar and every hour matter.

At the heart of our work has been philanthropic advising, partnering with seasoned and emerging philanthropists to source, select, and support high-impact investments. We’ve helped refine strategies to ensure resources create lasting change, developed learning journeys that strengthen philanthropic skills, and ensured that giving remains joyful and deeply fulfilling.

Alongside this, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with nearly a dozen remarkable clients, from visionary entrepreneurs launching bold new ideas to seasoned organizations and institutions scaling their work for broader impact.

What excites us most isn’t just who we’ve worked with, it’s what we’ve worked on. Through our focus on philanthropic advising, organizational strategy, and storytelling, we’ve advanced teen mental health initiatives, supported young people healing from trauma, collaborated with innovative for-profit EdTech companies to expand their reach, and engaged with a groundbreaking documentary that challenges the very idea of “normal” and its history of exclusion and marginalization.

We’ve engaged decision-makers approaching social change from every angle, strengthening innovative programs and entrepreneurs, advancing organizations through strategic planning and new program development, and helping legacy institutions scale from regional to national impact. To elevate these efforts, we’ve also produced compelling videos, hosted cross-sector webinars, and delivered a keynote at the University of Denver to spark dialogue on equity and inclusion in education.

Our strategy work has included leading strategic planning processes, facilitating board retreats, and guiding executive teams through meaningful conversations that lead to high-impact decisions. We supported two seasoned organizations in building a deep partnership that will expand inclusive education for students with disabilities, shifting mindsets and practices in hundreds of school districts across six states.

A critical skill for any organization is the ability to grow revenue. We bolstered more than six organizations with their fundraising strategies, from crowdsourcing campaigns, including one that achieved the most successful holiday drive in the organization’s history, increasing revenue by 20% over the previous year, to donor dinners and large-scale events designed to raise revenue and deepen relationships. In all of this work, we leveraged storytelling to showcase each organization’s impact and inspire action.

This first year and a half has exceeded our wildest dreams. We are proud to be at the center of social impact strategy, helping our partners scale their influence and deepen their impact.

As we look ahead, we know this is a critical moment. Many are pulling back, feeling the weight of the challenges before us.
